As being the oldest classic of the OCM calendar, we think Vejle-København should have the attention it never had. That is why we made a small preview before the race (http://www.cyclingsimulator.com/?page=Press%20Release&team=Yuri%20SuperTeam&article=12106) and now it is time... for the review.
Being a classic and not a Tour, there is always few to say. And since we've been waiting for ages for the live updates that could tell us more about how the race developed, the review will be...small.
Unbelievably, none of the 10 favorites I nominated before won the classic. Instead of that, we had a big surprise called Clifford Welch!
Almost unknown for the Zyte division teams, this 25 yo sprinter has been evolving a lot in the recent seasons. In addition, after a great S35 where he finished 107th in the ranks, Clifford reaches his best career result ever in Vejle-København. A story to tell later on for sure!
Kyle Wyles and Berger Béni completed the podium, but the biggest surprises where Julian Lundberg's 4th place and Brendon Heaven's 9th place alongside with Clifford Welch's win! Biggest disappointment was Félix Águeda's 19th place.
Special mention to Cao Huixiong's injurie. Hope he recovers well and reaches his last season's performance!
Top 9:
1. Clifford Welch, logoloos
2. Kyle Wyles, Spin Doctors
3. Berger Béni, Silencio
4. Julian Lundberg, Team WonderDee
5. Santiago Campelo, Gradient Levellers
6. Yulian Abdulov, NightmareChaos
7. Tadesse Awerson, NJ procycling
8. Lambert Van Der Gijp, 1 2 Cycle
9. Brendon Heaven, Burren Connemara

Just see this press release today, and I have to say Yuri I really like your press releases. As most of you I did not expect to win and as you all would expect, Welch had super legs during this race. Although he does not look very impressing, He is USAs NC at this moment which is very good for a 219 Sprinter
He had normal legs BTW, so no super/good legs.
Lundberg have done it well in this race before.
Yes, I was surprised to see Wyles as high as 2nd but then a bit surprised to see who beat him!
